w Building the Kingdom - Acts 1-12  -   Frank OvercastAuditorium
God had a plan for his earthly kingdom with the forming of His church. That kingdom would shine the light to all the world. In this study of the first 12 chapters of Acts, we will learn the principles on which God rooted his church and how those same principles are invaluable for His kingdom today.

w Fight the good fightBill Glenn, Fellowship Hall
A war is raging through America and much of the world - a war not of  guns and bullets, but of belief systems and ideologies. The battlegrounds of this war pit personal freedom against statism, absolute truth against relativism, the Church against the homosexual agenda, the sanctity of life against abortion and euthanasia, purity against sexual promiscuity, constitutional foundations against judicial activism, school instruction against indoctrination, etc.  Too often, Christians have been guilty of watching from the sidelines as one cherished ideal after another is attacked by people and organizations who deny our God, ridicule our faith, and seek to impose their own worldview on us. It is time for us join the fight. We will examine many of these battlefields, and discuss ways to stand firm for our God in the midst of the culture war that surrounds us.

w Christ Centered Prayer - Ernie Drott, Blue Room
The goal of this course is to provide potential ways to help deepen prayer life for greater effectiveness in the daily walk with God.  Topics of discussion will include perspectives on praying in Jesus’ name, in Jesus’ way, without doubting, in the Spirit, boldly, expectantly, persistently, in God’s will, and in God’s wisdom.  The underlying principle of the study is that prayer is not a celestial wishing well, but rather an avenue to help transform our thinking and actions to glorify God in all that we are and all that we do.

w Radical Ideas - Mike Grose, Fellowship Hall
Apparently, Jesus ignored the first role of successful merchandising—saying what people want to hear. Instead, He communicated some radical ideas, like “Lose your life for my sake and you’ll find it,” or “the greatest among you will be servant of all.” Yet, the acceptance of such radical things once turned the course of history in a new direction. Come learn how such radical ideas might redirect your life and world.
